Since ancient times, the healing properties of eucalyptus have been known to residents of all regions where this wonderful tree is growing in all respects. Everyone knows cough lollipops with eucalyptus and fragrant bath brooms, eucalyptus tincture is used to gargle and inhale. North Africans planted eucalyptus groves to protect themselves from the spread of malaria. Indigenous people of Australia used eucalyptus leaves for the speedy healing of serious wounds received during hunting or in battles. Essential oil obtained from spherical eucalyptus leaves contains many volatile substances with antiviral and antibacterial properties.

What is eucalyptus essential oil used for:

  • Indoor air disinfection, elimination of unpleasant odors, repelling insects.
  • As an expectorant for any respiratory disease.
  • Increasing the productivity of mental activity, reducing drowsiness and apathy.
  • Anesthesia for bruises, injuries of the musculoskeletal system, arthritis, rheumatism.
  • Help in the presence of gynecological diseases, diseases of the genitourinary system (removal of inflammation, equalization of acid balance, prevention of thrush).
  • Treatment of inflammatory skin diseases (furunculosis, acne), acceleration of skin healing after burns and frostbite.

CAUTION! Eucalyptus oil can not be used during pregnancy, for children under 2 years old, with sensitive skin, a tendency to allergic consequences!

How to apply eucalyptus aromatic oil:

  • In the bathhouse and sauna: a few drops of eucalyptus oil are added to a bowl of hot water or in a special evaporator and placed on the top shelf in the hairdressing department or next to a heat source. In a Russian bath, eucalyptus oil is also added to the water for “vdavaniya” (receiving steam by supplying hot water to the heater).
  • For mass: add 4-6 drops of oil to massage cream or base oil.

For aromatization and disinfection of indoor air: 3-5 drops of oil are added to the water for the aroma lamp. Another option is to add eucalyptus oil to a bowl of hot water, or use it around a heat source, or use a talc chlorite vaporizer.

  • For inhalations: 1-2 drops of oil per several liters of heated water, or 1 drop in a nebulizer, inhalation takes no more than 5-7 minutes.
  • For baths: add 3-5 drops of oil to 30 g (about a tablespoon) of milk, honey or salt (sea, table or Himalayan), mix, pour into a bath with warm water.
  • For rinsing and douching: 1-2 drops of oil in a glass of warm water, add half a teaspoon of baking soda, use immediately.
  • To repel insects: apply 2-3 drops of aromatic oil of eucalyptus to clothing.

ATTENTION! It is not recommended to use pure eucalyptus essential oil! In order to check the body, you need to add a small amount of funds.
